Mountain Top Jeep Safari and Picnic Lunch

Bir – Paragliding

Morning/Afternoon: 10:00am – 4:00pm

Experience flight with the Himalaya has your back drop. Take off from a beautiful mountain top and gently glide in the sky rising up above the mighty Dhauladhar mountains. This is one experience that will give you bragging rights like no other.

• Pick up from hotel- go over the itinerary and weather conditions
• Start with a scenic drive to Bir then tea at the landing site to get ready for your flight
• We then begin a picturesque drive up to the take off site in Billing at a height of 8,500 Feet
• Experience flying at one of the world’s most renown paragliding sites, with an experienced pilot
• After the epic adventure relax and enjoy a refreshing lunch at a local organic cafe
• We take a scenic tour for a guided tour of the famous Sherabling Monastery.

Cost: 4500 INR Per Person. Guided tour of Bir, paragliding with lunch and transportation (2 pax min)

Garhi Mountain View Hike

All day: 10:00am – 6:00pm

• Pick up at your accommodation
• Pre departure orientation/review schedule, weather and trip plan
• Drive to the Palampur Trail Head through the tea gardens – (30 minutes).
• With our experienced porters and hiking guides we will take you on a 6-10 mile hike up to a village called Garhi (uninhabited) at 8500 Ft above sea
  level. Depending on the route we take the hike could be between moderate and difficult – all ages & levels will be accommodated for
• Lunch served on top of the mountain with picturesque views of the Dhauladhar mountain range
• Drive back to your accommodation (30 minutes)
• This trip also offers an overnight camping option for the outdoor enthusiasts for an additional cost

McLeodganj Walking Tour – Home of H.H. the Dalai Lama

Afternoon/Evening: 10am – 5pm

Immersive yourself in Tibetan culture in the bustling town of McLeodganj -The Tibetan government-inexile is headquarters and home to Namgyal Monastery, the official residence of the Dalai Lama in India.

Baijnath & Mahakal Temples

Morning/Afternoon
Mahakal: The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and considered centuries old. The Temple complex houses in also a separate temple of Sani Dev (God Saturn).
The visit to temple is especially for blessings of God Sani and to throw away the bad effects and Gain blessings.
Baijnath Mandir: Bajinath was built by the two native merchants by the name of Ahuka and Manyuka in 1204 A.D. In the porch of the temple, the two long
inscriptions state that before the present temple, there was a shrine of Lord Shiva at the same spot. Lord Shiva is commemorated here as Vaidyanath (the Lord
of Physician) and is placed in the form of ‘Lingam’ (phallic form of Lord Shiva). The main sanctum comprises five projections on every side and a
tall curved shikhar (spire). The history of Baijnath temple is inscribed on the stone slabs inside the complex. As per the beliefs, Ravana (King of Lanka) had
worshipped Lord Shiva in this temple. The water of this temple is believed to contain medicinal properties.

Andretta Pottery & Soba Singh Art Gallery

Morning/Afternoon
Andretta Pottery is run by Mansimran “Mini” Singh, son of famous potter Gurcharan Singh. Andretta Pottery and Craft Society was started in 1983. It is situated between the old Shuahk hills and the towering range of the Dhauladhar Himalaya.

• Pick up at your accommodation
• 40 minute drive to Andretta through the rolling Kangra valley
• Pottery studio tour and lesson/class
• Timing of potting class and the amount of time spent can be individualized according to your artistic desire!
